The success of the granola was the inspiration to develop a recipe for the granola bars, which are easy to pack and which I could leave available for guests on the table of coffee and tea corner.

The recipe I’m going to share is tried and tested.
I have made the bars using different types of cereals, oils and sugar.
I tried berries, seeds, and dried fruits of all kinds. I put chocolate chips and then finally opted to cover one side of the bars with chocolate melted.

At the end, it depends on your taste and what I can say is to use my recipe as a base to create your favorite bar. Don’t want pistachios? Add almonds. Prefer natural ginger to candied ginger? Or raisins instead of goji berries? No problem. You decide according to your taste and what you have in your pantry.

Always good.

These are so great as an on-the-go breakfast or merenda.
